Placing an Order
To place an order on our website, please use our secure on-line
shopping basket and enter your credit card information.
If you have questions regarding any of our products and services,
you can email us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at info@madabouthats.com.
Guarantee/Returns
We pride ourselves in carrying high quality items and we hope that you will
be pleased with your order. Rest assured that you can return any hat except
personalized items for any reason at all. We want you to be 100% satisfied
with your hats.
R.G.A. # is required for returns!
In the event you need to return an item, you must send an email to returns@madabouthats.com
within 7 days of receiving your order for your R.G.A. #. We
will ONLY accept authorized return requests via email and within 7 days of
the delivery date. All items must be unused and in the original
packaging and arrive at our office within 14 days. In order to assure prompt
and efficient handling of your returns, Mad About Hats requires all returns
be shipped via UPS, Fedex, or U.S. Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation.
Strict adherence to this policy is required or your authorization
and/or return will be denied.
You will receive a full refund of the cost of your product (excluding shipping) on any returns under $40. On bulk returns over $40, a restocking fee of 25% will apply. Buyer is to incur return shipping costs. We suggest that you place a small test order for individual hats to verify the product before ordering large quantities. WHOLESALE ORDERS OF 24 UNITS OR MORE MAY NOT BE RETURNED. Denied deliveries or returns violating this policy will be assessed a 50% restocking fee.
Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, personal
check or money order.
Check or Money Order by Mail Option: In the event you would like to mail a personal check or money order, simply complete your order online. During the checkout process on the Payment Information screen, select "Check By Mail" under the Credit Card Type field. You may bypass the Credit Card number, Expiration, and CVN fields when choosing this form of paymentl.

Also, notify us at orders@madabouthats.com that you are sending in an order by mail. All orders by check or money order will be sent after payment is processed.
Delivery Time
Most orders leave our warehouse within 24 or 48 hours (excluding
weekends and holidays) from when the order was placed. Our optional
Rush Handling (+$8) will guarantee your order will ship within
24 hours (again, excluding weekends and holidays). PLEASE BE ADVISED
THIS IS ONLY RUSH HANDLING, NOT RUSH OR OVERNIGHT SHIPPPING.
We now have shipping hubs in the western and eastern United States. This usually means your order will arrive within 2-3 days after it is shipped if THE DELIVERY ADDRESS IS WITHIN THE CONTINUOS 48 STATES. Canadian orders can take up to 10 additional days because of possible delays in Customs. Occasionally items are out of stock in the warehouse that is closest to your location, and must ship from our other warehouse. This may cause an additional 2 to 3 days delay to your delivery time.
Backorders
Occasionally, an item you have selected may be out of stock. We
try to maintain a large inventory of every item, but high demand
and popularity of some styles can cause temporary shortages. Every
effort will be made to notify you of the backorder with a new ship
date. Backorders will be shipped within 24 hours of our warehouse
receiving new stock from overseas. We appreciate your patience
and understanding. If you paid for rush handling on an out of stock
item, that extra fee will be refunded.
In the event your order includes multiple styles and one is out of stock, rest assured that all in-stock items will be shipped immediately and any backordered items will be shipped as soon as they are available. Again, any rush handling charges you opted for will be credited.
Shipping
Physical Address Required
You must provide a physical address for shipping, as P.O. boxes
are not delivered to via UPS!
Mad About Hats uses UPS Ground for shipping. Our U.S., Canada,
and Mexico shipping charges are quite reasonable, and are calculated
automatically in the shopping cart. For shipping to these countries,
will see the exact shipping charge your credit card number is required.
For shipping charges to other countries, please contact us before
placing your order (please note that UPS shipping to international
locations outside of North America may run over $50 and can be
as high as $200 to some destinations).

*US Shipping is to the Lower 48 states. For Alaska and Hawaii,
the shopping cart will add $5 to the shipping.
*Canada and Mexico, add $10.00 to shipping.
*All other countries a surcharge will apply based on actual
shipping costs as charged by UPS. WE WILL CONTACT YOU AND INFORM
YOU OF INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COSTS SO PLEASE PROVIDE A VALID EMAIL
AND/OR TELEPHONE NUMBER.
We currently do not deliver to APO addresses, as UPS won't deliver there directly.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will only be assessed for orders that are shipped to
the state of Utah (6.60%). If you are a Utah retailer with your
own Utah sales tax number, contact us
if you are purchasing wholesale.
Rush Orders
Rush handling is available for an $8 surcharge (please be advised
this is only a rush handling, not shipping). In the event you would
like to express ship an order (via overnight or 2nd day air), please
contact us.
